  2. Type in the following, and then press Enter:
    sudo nano /etc/ssh/sshd_conf
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the file.
  4. Add the following lines:

MACs hmac-sha1,umac-64@openssh.com,hmac-ripemd160
  1. Type CTRL-X and then press Enter to exit.
  2. Enter Y to save changes.
  3. Do not change the name of the file, and press Enter to save.
  4. Type in the following, and then press Enter:
    sudo service ssh restart
