Scheduling a Configuration

Before configuring Calendar Integration in VALT, please make sure you've completed and understand the prerequisites outlined below.

You can also schedule a Calendar Integration Discovery at our booking site under Schedule a Support Session. During that call, we will discuss the prerequisites for configuring your VALT server to integrate with your M365 environment.

Required Information

In order to configure and setup Calendar Integration with VALT, the following information needs to be setup:

  • Your environment must utilize Microsoft AD/Azure (M365 or Microsoft 365).

  • Rooms
    • Each VALT Room must be associated with the email address of a Microsoft 365 Resource Room mailbox.
      • This allows the room to receive and manage calendar bookings

  • Users
    • Each VALT User must be associated with an email address that has an active Microsoft 365 mail license.
      • This allows the user to create, view, and manage calendar events

  • All accounts that are going to be used with calendars require a minimum of a Microsoft 365 Business Basic License
