Password Rules

In VALT, there is a setting for Password Rules. If this is enabled, it will enforce password standards for local user accounts within that group.

Failed Attempt Lockout
Ten failures results in a 3 minute lockout.
Password Complexity
A password must contain 3 of the following 4 types of characters.
1. Uppercase
2. Lowercase
3. Number
4. Symbol
Password History
User cannot use the last 3 passwords.
Password Expiration
User passwords will expire after 180 days.
